Noticeboard

Our FLU CLINIC this year is on Saturday 7th October.  If you're eligible, please make your appointment now.

Friends and Family Test results so far show that 99% of our patients said they are extremely likely to recommend our practice to their friends or family members.

The NHS has requested us to tell every patient who their doctor is.  If you wish to be told, please call us on 01452 740213.  If you come to the surgery, the receptionist will probably confirm this with you.

If you were aged 70 - 73, or 78 - 79 on 1st September 2016, you can have a shingles vaccination.  You need only one of these to protect you, so please make your appointment now.

Temporary Registration

vaccination11If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a 'long-term' temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
